Alan is a vastly experienced Computer Forensic Analyst. Before joining SRM, he served as Head of the High-Tech Crime Unit at Northumbria Police, responsible for the capture and analysis of all types of digital media. Alan is a Director of the North East Fraud Forum (NEFF) and advises on all aspects of cyber-crime and has represented NEFF at the United Nations. He has also lectured at Edinburgh University, Northumbria University and The University of Sunderland on topics including cyber-crime, internet abuse and digital forensics.
